Hailing from Chengdu, Sichuan, Chef Li Ke brings a genuine passion for Sichuan cuisine to our kitchen. He has a particular affinity for dim sum, often enjoying the dishes at Xinxing Wang Hong Kong Tea Restaurant back in Sichuan.
Chef Li Ke’s culinary skills shine brightest when he’s preparing his favourite dishes: Sichuan style soup dumplings, mapo tofu, shredded pork with fish flavour, and his exceptional dry roasted sea bass. These dishes reflect not just his skill but also his deep connection to Sichuan cooking traditions.
His greatest culinary influence is Lei Jianjun, the renowned chef at Uhao Golden Lotus Hotel. Under Master Lei’s guidance, Chef Li Ke learned the importance of patience and the art of mastering a task through repeated perfection. This philosophy has deeply influenced his approach to cooking, allowing him to create dishes that are both authentic and innovative.
