Goats are shy, cautious characters who think things through thoroughly before moving forward. They are deep thinkers, considerate, empathic and often with a strong moral code, and desire to help others that makes them great friends. These sensitive folk may have an underlying insecurity that increases their need for social support, and others may feel that they need a lot of attention.

They may appear gentle on the outside but often they are quite tough and resilient on the inside. They are good at knowing when to protect themselves, which makes them quite stable. They are very calm, it’s rare for them to be aggressive, and they’re always proactive about fixing their mistakes.

Goats are imaginative, stylish, and love the finer things in life, but they are not in the slightest bit arrogant about it. They are very artistically talented, many end up in the arts and other creative professions, but they don’t like being the centre of attention.

Goats are very emotional creatures, which sometimes makes them impractical and with a tendency to pessimism.

Wood Goat

Gentle, polite, easy going, emotional, compassionate.

Cheerful Wood Goats are very extroverted. They are generous, trusting people who love to get involved with social activities and have lots of friends. They are great with kids, but can have a tendency to people pleasing.

Wood Goats are cautious and like to think things through carefully before taking action, but sometimes they get too caught up in thinking about things that they miss out on opportunities. They have a tendency to pessimism and when bad things happen, they may feel down for a long time.

Fire Goat

Honest, helpful, organised, tidy, stubborn.

Fire Goats are single minded, determined, have clear goals and will use their charm and powers of persuasion to achieve their aims. They are decisive, potentially even a little reckless, with a rebellious streak.

These popular Goats are animated, love parties, and are willing to help others without the favour being returned, so they have lots of friends. They also love to spend, which combined with the desire to help others and being slightly reckless, can be a bad combination.

Fire Goats can be stubborn but will accept others advice, however they may be easily overcome by emotions and they are often unrealistic but too stubborn to accept it.

Metal Goat

Honest, fair, outspoken, impatient, ambitious.

Metal Goats may seem shy, but they are actually very ambitious and forward thinking. They are kind hearted, faithful, reliable, and trustworthy, in fact they have many virtues that make them excellent friends, like responsibility, sensitivity, and ethics. Not to mention the fact that they will never abandon a friend in need.

However, they are more moody and angry than other Goats, impatient and stubborn, which can sometimes lead to difficulty communicating.

They are enterprising, efficient, and like to plan, but they may lack flexibility, and find it hard to adapt to change well, but they are always principled and fair.

Earth Goat

Kind, responsible, principled, traditional, compassionate.

These lovely Goats are caring, considerate, loyal and patient. They like to spend time with their families in shared pursuits, are very protective of their friends, and love to help others. They make faithful partners and find their soulmates easily. They are good at compromise so relationships are smooth and harmonious.

Earth Goats are elegant and love to spend on nice things, so they find it hard to save. They love learning, are very knowledgeable and experienced, but can have a tendency to be outspoken. They may have a tendency to stubbornness and pessimism.

Water Goat

Trustworthy, quiet, underappreciated, attentive, loyal.

Water Goats are warm hearted, considerate, and modest people with a great sense of humour. They are careful and responsible, which makes them great with kids. These are peace loving folk who rarely argue, and value friendship greatly. They are usually very popular, and very much loved by their friends. They make friends easily, but may find it hard to face up to problems in relationships due to avoiding conflict and they are easily taken advantage of due to their passive nature. They may also struggle with boundaries and sacrifice themselves for others.

These Goats are diligent employees, but slightly introverted and like to work alone. They don’t do well with change and are too hesitant and lacking in confidence to take advantage of opportunities that may arise.
