CHINESE HOROSCOPE
In Chinese astrology there are 12 zodiac signs but each one is assigned to a full year rather than just one month, creating a twelve year cycle of signs; rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. (Remember that the Chinese zodiac runs from the start of the Chinese New Year in January/February rather than 1st January.)
However there is a second cycle of elements; wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, that interacts with the zodiac signs to create zodiac subtypes, for example, wood rat, fire rat, earth rat, metal rat, and water rat.
This means that you may have to consult a large table to identify your Chinese zodiac sign, but here we’ve created an online calculator that will do the hard work for you!
Just find your Chinese birth year in the dropdown list at the side of the page and you’ll instantly find out your Chinese zodiac. You can then enter your email to get more information about your sign.
