As the days get shorter and colder, nothing is more comforting than starting your dinner with a warm and so delcious Wonton Soup…
Dumplings are an old favourite in many Chinese cuisines. They are made by spreading a square dough wrapper (made of flour, egg and salt) flat in the palm of one’s hand, placing a small amount of filling in the center and sealing the wonton into the desired shape by compressing the wrapper’s edges together with the fingers. Various fillings are used throughout China though pork and chicken are the of the most popular.
At China Sichuan Restaurant we serve our home made dumplings in soothing chicken broth and Chinese spinach (Wonton Soup) or for those looking for a little more excitment, poached on a hot spicy chilly oil broth (Hon Yu Guozi). And if crunchy is you preference, why not try our Waltip dumplings, panfried and filled with pork and chicken.
Ask our staff for our selcetion of wontons and let us know what your preference is at our Facebook Page
